  • In-dialog hotkeys: Many Amorphous dialogs support single-key shortcuts. For example, Smart Selection uses C, F, T, P, W for filter types and R, V, M for scopes. Look for underlined letters in chip labels.
  • Assign Revit shortcuts: Go to Revit Options > Keyboard Shortcuts and assign hotkeys to your most-used commands. Some tools execute instantly (e.g., Smart Section Box, Toggle Point Clouds), while others like Quick Color pop up at your cursor position for convenience.
  • ESC to cancel: Most dialogs and picking operations can be cancelled with the Escape key
  • Modeless dialogs: Most Amorphous tools use modeless dialogs that stay open while you work in Revit - no need to close them between operations
  • Blocking dialogs: A few tools intentionally block the UI when a focused workflow is needed (e.g., element picking sequences)
  • Dockable panels: Some tools like Quick Toggles can be docked to the Revit window for quick access if used frequently
  • Select → Color: Use Smart Selection to find similar elements, then Color Override to highlight them
  • Select → Isolate/Hide: Quickly isolate or hide all elements matching your criteria
  • Section Box → Save: Create a section box with Smart Section Box, then save it with Section Box Manager for later recall
  • Edge Aligned → Orient View: Create an edge-aligned section box, then use 3D View Align to orient your view to match
  • Section Box from 2D views: Run Smart Section Box or Section Box Edge Aligned from a plan or section view - it creates a dedicated 3D view automatically
  • Linked model edges: Section Box Edge Aligned works with linked Revit models - just pick an edge on any linked element
  • QuickVis snapshots: Save your current visibility state, make temporary changes, then restore with one click
  • Padding adjustments: After creating a section box, the padding panel lets you fine-tune bounds with +/- buttons
